Fast of Daniel

Fast of Daniel Every day i will post a message about the Holy Spirit during this 21 days.

What is the fast of Daniel?

Intelligent faith is not a shot in the dark.
By believing in the invisible we make the impossible, possible.
But we need to mix faith with imagination.
Faith is certainty. And yet, it is impossible to be certain of what we cannot imagine.
Dreaming, envisioning, prophesying (confessing) and imagining things that we want are the
work of the Spirit of God inside of us, His servants, and are elements of conquering faith.
“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions." Joel 2.28
Spirit-inspired faith sees the future already materialized in the present, and continues to
pursue that goal until it is a reality.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for (imagination), the evidence of things not seen (dream). Hebrews 11.1
There is no way to separate faith and imagination.
A hard to please, difficult person may realize that he needs to change his behavior and get
rid of his moodiness.
When he hears that faith in Jesus has the power to change things, to make him into a new
man, the desire to change is born. He starts to imagine his new self: polite, humble, cheerful and peaceful. He then seeks this change with his faith, using every resource at his disposal: meditation on the Word of God, prayer, fasting, and most importantly, turning away from sin.
These actions of faith cause a reaction by the Holy Spirit, who makes him into the long
awaited new man.
Starting Monday the 13th we will be having the 5th Fast of Daniel.
It will be a 21-day fast from every type of secular information and entertainment in order to immerse our body, soul and spirit in the Ocean of the Holy Spirit.
This purpose is reserved for those who are eager, determined and know what they want.
"... but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4.14
