The heart is deceitful

Who gets married because they hate their future spouse? Nobody.

People get married because they supposedly feel love for another person.

But what kind of feeling is this that does not allow you to continue married?

It’s a false sense of love.

Where does this misleading feeling begin? The heart.

Deceitful, wicked and unknown is how God defines the heart.

The heart is deceitful, above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?Jeremiah 17.9

No wonder the devil imposes so many kinds of feelings,

And forces the person to depend on them.

The person hates submitting to reason;

He is an enemy of the Spirit of God,

Refuses to submit to Him and,

Only agrees with the devil and his ideas.

Because of this, mankind suffers.

Biblically, the heart represents the flesh,

Flesh that opposes the Holy Spirit;

Flesh that is an enemy of God;

Flesh that does not allow you to please the Spirit of God;

Flesh that leans towards death...

For those who live according to the flesh (heart) set their minds on the things of theflesh (heart), but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded (heart) is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind (heart) is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

So then, those who are in the flesh (heart) cannot please God. Romans 8.5-8

Only those who are born of the Spirit are given a new heart;

A heart after God's own heart;

A heart that feels the feelings of God;

A heart that is thirsty for those who are lost...

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you, I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36.26
