Hi, i was reading this post, and i find it very interesting.
Luke 8:5-8 “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it. Some fell on rock; and as soon as it sprang up, it withered away because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold.” When He had said these things He cried, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
As the Lord Jesus explained later on, the seed is the Word of God, which has the power to transform lives, depending on the listeners…
- The Wayside Woman: She heard it, but did not believe it. As soon as the doubts, fears, worries, malice and evil eyes came, the Word of God was left by the wayside and later trampled with bad comments.
- The Rock Woman: She heard the Word of God with pleasure, but did not allow it to take root; she forgot it.
- The Thorn Woman: She heard, liked and even accepted the Word of God, but she allowed it to be stifled by her many worries, ambitions and pleasures. Unwilling to sacrifice, she prefers to keep what she has…
- The Good-ground Woman: She heard and accepted the Word of God 100%. She did not ask questions. She did not hesitate. She did not doubt it. She simply trusted it and decided to put it into practice.
What kind of woman were you?
