There is no doubt that biblical faith is supernatural, intelligent, audacious and, above all, bold.
It is of the Spirit of God.
It is a sign of God in the lives of those who believe.
For those who do not believe, it is foolishness.
It’s foolishness because those who do not believe rely on the wisdom of this world.
Faith is also a revelation of the Spirit.
I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. Luke 10.21
But, for those who believe, it is the Power of God.
The so-called "wise men of this world" do not understand this.
They would never be able to understand.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. I Corinthians 2.14
Since faith is the Spirit of the Word of God, it is only revealed to babes, the poor in spirit. Matthew 5.3
The 40 days of the Fast of Jesus, for example, is a clear demonstration of this faith.
Who can understand a person abstaining from secular information during forty days, especially during the World Cup?
How can you refuse to drink of the spirit of the most competitive sport in the world?
Only if it is to drink from Something that is infinitely Greater.
And it is.
Drink of the Spirit of God.
Note: This may be a partial fast for those who, due to work or school, are required to have access to current information.
Duration of the Fast of Jesus: June 10 to July 19.
The proposed Fast is not an obligation. Instead, it should be done with spontaneity and a joyful heart.
An objective for those who thirst for a personal encounter with the Living God.
Why should I do this 40 day fast?
To receive the seal of the Holy Spirit.
