Some more tips about colours


SOME MORE TIPS ABOUT COLOURS!!!

Experiment:

Green + Orange
Pink + Yellow + Blue
Pink + Violet + Green
Blue + Violet + Green
Blue + Pink

Basic Tips (regardless of the level):

  • Use the neutral or dark color on the part of your body that you don’t want to call attention to. For example, if your have thick legs, you should wear the dark color there, but if your legs are thin, wear the bright color on that part of your body.
  • If you have already made good use of color blocking on your clothes, then use neutral and/or minimalist accessories.
  • If your look is already vibrant, then choose an eye shadow that will complement it.
  • If you are a bit overweight, and have a bit of a protuberant tummy, you may wear a vibrant color top together with a dark color cardigan.
  • Avoid shiny fabric on your problem areas (those you prefer to hide…).
Color blocking is formed by solid colors, not prints. If you still don’t feel confident enough to use color blocking, wear your usual clothes, but add to it one piece in vibrant color (it could be the shoes, a cardigan or an accessory). Little by little you will start liking these colors and will be able to invest on this trend.
You can be sure of that!
Look girls, this is a very extensive subject, but here I wanted to give a little help so you are not lost, afraid and feeling uncomfortable when it comes to matching colors. Balance and common sense are still the key, but let’s not exaggerate and always stay the same. We should not, want not and cannot be slaves to fashion, but if something can give a beautiful result and be fun, why not try it?
